Waiheke Island is a popular wine-tasting destination, and there are several wineries within 3 km of the property, including Stonyridge, Obsidian and Cassita Miro.The guesthouse offers luxury van tours for guests, which take in island sights and vineyards.

have access to Netflix. Some rooms have access to a private bathroom whilst others share a bathroom with one other room.

*Locals manage their own water and waste systems so preventing misuse of both resources is important to all islanders
*Cycling around Waiheke can be tricky and is not recommended
*There is 100km of excellent hiking around Waiheke. Ask us for maps.
*Cars cost about $60-$80/day to rent. We recommend Waiheke Rentals
*Crime and safety concerns are minimal on Waiheke. Hitch-hiking is common here
*The bus timetable is in the foyer. Plan your trips carefully to avoid long bus stop waits
*The most frequent buses can be caught from Belgium Street
*Waiheke is about 19km across. The highest point is Mt Maunganui (231m). The climate is slightly warmer and drier than Auckland
*Resident population = 8340 (27% were born outside NZ) which swells to approx 40k during peak times
*Little Oneroa Beach is the starting point for a great coastal walk towards Enclosure Bay
